The 1 in 12 Club is the venue for Carpe Noctum.
The 1 in 12 Club is a self-owned, self-run members' club. Located over several floors of an old warehouse building on a
cobbled alley in the city centre, it's got a very Northern, urban, gritty DIY atmosphere.
Non-members are very welcome but will need to be signed in by a member - I'm not aware of us ever having any problems
with regard to this except as a useful device to refuse entry to undesirable elements.
The bars serve a wide range of Sam Smiths beers, bottled ciders and quality continental lagers,
Fentimans botanically-brewed soft drinks, guest ales, and the usual range of spirits and mixers. All at very reasonable prices.
The main members' bar, on the second floor, features a top jukebox, pool table, table footy,
darts, and the oddest trophy cabinet you're ever likely to see.
The gig room, on the first floor and the venue for our main events, has a 100 capacity, its own bar, large stage,
punishing PA, and disco lighting over the dancefloor. We'll sometimes bring UV lights and/or candles down with us too -
as well as the ubiquitous smoke machine.
On-street parking is available just outside, and the venue is just 5-10 minutes' walk from either rail station.
As the 1 in 12 is a multi-story venue with no (working) lift, disabled access is difficult to say the least - please
contact the venue or promoters in advance if you need to.

The Mannville Arms is the venue for Bad Moon Rising.
The Mannville Arms is an independent public house, which is situated opposite the site of Bradford College.
Although it is fairly close to the West End area of Bradford - an area which is currently associated with trendy pop/dance
oriented bars and chain pubs (and the inevitable crowds that they attract), The Mannville stands defiantly on its own,
catering for a more open-minded rock and alternative clientele.
