Before the Mission, before Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, before the Sisters, Expelaires exploded out of the Leeds post-punk scene in the late 70's. Original bass player Mark Copson went on to play with Music For Pleasure; keyboardist Craig Adams went on to play bass with The Sisters Of Mercy and then The Mission; guitarist David Wolfenden joined Red Lorry Yellow Lorry before playing with The Mission; and Carl Harper drummed with Girls At Our Best. Now they’re back around their original creative hub of Paul "Grape" Gregory and Wolfie.
